For the occasion of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva, Cartier commissioned Superbien to conceptualize and design an immersive box to recount the inception of the first wristwatch through the life story of the French-Brazilian aviation pioneer Alberto Santos-Dumont.

To give justice to this incredible story, the studio came up with an original and unconventional concept with the high creative and production values clients have come to expect. From the childhood dreams of a Brazilian boy on a plantation, inspired by Jules Verne, to his multiple crashes to the moment he met Louis Cartier, we have designed a whimsical installation inside a cabinet of curiosity for the modern age. The man appears larger than life, as he truly was, to reveal his passionate and inquisitive mind which changed the world forever.

Blending emotion and information, this digital installation literally plunges the audience into the brand’s DNA, its history and its creative aspirations. An immersive experience in which time is truly suspended.
