Louis Vuitton
Vending Machine

Louis Vuitton unveils The Vending Machine, an immersive pop-up in China. Targeting Gen Z, it combines vibrant design, interactivity, and exclusive items.
(About the project)
In summer 2024, Louis Vuitton launches an iconic pop-up store inspired by its suitcase in a transparent and colorful version. Located in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Nanjing, the bright space attracts Gen Z with The Vending Machine, an exclusive experience giving visitors the chance to discover and purchase unique fashion items.
Superbien designs an interactive digital game on LED screens, where a motion-designed suitcase reacts to swipes, enhanced with sound and light effects.
(Creative response)
To elevate the experience, Superbien creates a Louis Vuitton suitcase in motion design that reacts to visitors’ swipes on the touchscreen. The visuals are enriched with a custom sound design produced with 31DB and synchronized lighting triggering physical trunks, transforming each interaction into a multi-sensory and immersive journey.
An engaging and playful device that drives attention and replay: visitors return to the game, amplifying excitement and highlighting Louis Vuitton exclusives.
(Result & Impact)
Each play reveals a result on the screen: a trunk lights up to unveil an exclusive accessory available for purchase. Losing encourages replay, fueling collective excitement. Thanks to motion design animation, synchronized lights, and immersive sound, the installation sparks curiosity, sharing, and strong visibility for the brand.
